Thursday the 22nd of November 2018 till the 25th of November 2018, Sainte Maxime
As every year at the last weekend of November, Sainte Maxime will host the Rally du Var.
From the 22nd of November till the 25th of November 2018 the crews of the 64th Rallye du Var and the 9th round of the 2018 French Rally Championship will close the season.
This rally will be doubled with the 34th Historic Rally du Var reserved for Historic Cars Competition and will also be the final round of the Championship of France VHC Rallies.
In recent years the Rally du Var is the round of the Championship which receives the greatest number of competitors in both modern rally and VHC rally.
The Association Sportive Automobile Club of the Var (ASACV) which organizes this event with the assistance of the City of Sainte Maxime keeps the formula which succeeds well, namely a test session on Thursday afternoon and three stages of Friday afternoon at sunday noon.
The course makes several loops in the Massif des Maures and represents about 215 km of Special Events run against the clock.
If it is still too early to announce the competitors, but David Salanon winner last year announced his return.
Daniel Elena unfaithful to Sébastien Loeb will ride in HCV driving his Golf.
